My family dog Tigger had to be put down today. He lives with my sister in Cincinnati and while she was up this weekend for Easter he got really sick this morning. After a trip to the emergency vet it turns out he had a tumor that was bleeding out so my dad and sister made the unbeliveably hard call to put him to rest. He’s crossed the bifrost bridge now and I’m so incredibly sad. He was my first dog. He was only 10. So incredibly sweet and happy, if not a little bit a of wuss, he’d jump at a plastic bag, but I loved him so much and I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye. I miss him so much already

It’s even worse for the family members when it’s so sudden. I’m so sorry. I still remember losing my first dog.

yeah, i guess he threw up once on the drive from cincinnati to chicago, but was ok yesterday but this morning he started throwing up among other things and by 8am he was gone. we are all in a state of shock. i still dragged my ass to work though but my bosses are giving me some time where i dont ahve to deal with customers

I’m so sorry. It’s always hard. My parents lost a dog in the same way.
